Bodhi Work is honored to host NCBTMB accredited continuing education provider and nationally licensed massage therapist, Kevin R. Lynch, LMT.
Kevin lives in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has practiced massage for over two decades. He is an Advanced Thai Massage Therapist, spending over a decade studying Thai Massage across Thailand - his second home.
Kevin has been teaching his Level 1 and Level 2 courses over the last eight years. His Level 1 and Level 2 course was the foundational course that started Samantha’s bodywork career.
What will we learn in this course?
This is a 32 hour continuing education certification course that will cover the basic principles and techniques of “Northern Style” Thai massage, as well as theory and history of Thai massage. This includes:
History and theoretical principles of Thai massage
understanding of Wai Khru and ethics of Thai Massage
positioning and mechanics for the practitioner
precautions and contraindications for clients and practitioners
a full routine utilizing prone, side-lying, supine and seated positions for the recipient
learn theory and massage of 10 major sen (energy ) lines
ability to preform a complete 90min - 120min Thai massage
